He is a staff member of the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. He is currently working on a Bible studies initiative with adolescents as well as other initiatives to foster leadership among adults who work with Hispanic youth. He is also a full time instructor in the Catholic Biblical School of the University of Dallas School of Ministry. Before joining the Office of Youth Ministry, he served as Parish Catechetical Leader/Youth Ministry in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Dallas; RCIA director at Holy Family Church in Lindale, TX and as theology instructor/campus ministry at Bishop Thomas K. Gorman High School in Tyler, TX.
The webinar is an introduction to biblical methodology with adolescents. Part I of the presentation offers a brief explanation of the goal of all catechesis, what it means to encounter the Word and a glimpse of the EPIC world of biblical catechesis. Part II gives simple tips for leaders who work with adolescents and would like to start some type of Bible studies in the parish but are not sure how to get things started.
